What happens at home while Mom is gone.

Rog's Work Christmas Party

It was at the Lion house and it was super good! We stopped to see the Christmas tree at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on our way out. My good friend, Crystal watched the boys for us and they had such a great time with Sam and Kate. The Freemans are the best!

Big E

I seem to be doing plenty of posts about Johnny so I decided Ethan needed some time to shine!
He is almost eight months and just as chubby as ever! I think he has three knees....on one leg! He loves to smile and loves it when Johnny plays with him, especially when Johnny (gently) tackles him. He is kind of a mommies boy...ok he really is but I don't mind! He has two teeth now and tries very very hard to crawl but is a super roller! He is pretty cute kid if you ask me!

Where did he learn that?!?!

So Johnny and I were playing guns this morning with the church threader toy things...saying freeze...you know. Anyway we got them out and he wanted to play freeze...so we started playing. We would freeze the couch, pillows, truck.....everything. After he would "freeze" the things he would try to put the "gun" on his hip...WHERE DID HE LEARN THAT?!?!?! So I tied a string around his waste and told him to put in his holster. He LOVED it! Oh...and thanks to Christina we have the Bateman jams which will make the perfect Halloween outfit!

I love my boy!

So today Johnny and I were picking up the living room after lunch so that we could read some stories before his "nappy poo" (what they are called in our home)! I asked him to go and clean up the marbles that he had been playing with. He didn't think it was that great of an idea so he went on jumping and running. I asked again and this time he went over to where they were on the floor...not to clean up but to play with something else. So I asked again and he came up to me and said "Lead me, guide me, help me find the way mom!" I just stared at him and thought...humm what a kid! So we cleaned up the marbles together! What they teach us!

Mom I want to!

So John is two and he likes to do things by himself now.....and that is all I have to say about this picture. He saw Rog outside mowing the lawn so he wanted to go outside and help and this is the outfit he choose. HE ROCKS!!!

Ohhhh it was so funny! Ethan and John are just simply the best!

ArKaNsAs

Ethan and I went on a trip to ArKANSAS....just last week. We went to go visit my sister Jessica and her new baby Tanner. It was so much fun seeing her again. I don't really have a lot to say about what we did other than just talked and talked...and talk. It was FANTASTIC! It has been such a long time since we had that much time to oursleves. We have missed it! She is a great sister and is an awesome mom! I LOVE YOU JESS!!!!!
Jessica and Tanner the day we left...ohhh it was so sad!
Our photo session
Uncle Shea and Ethan trying out the baby carrier they got a garage sale....but as you can see it is backwards...whoops!
Tanner 4 weeks and Ethan 6 months
I went with my brother-in-law John and mother-in-law. John is moving out there and went to go find some place to live so I just conviently went with them and I am so glad that I did! They were so much help in the airport and on the plane...I am sure that it would have been so much more rocky if I didn't tag along. John carried all of my luggage (ok so one bag plus two more) and Mom P sat by me the whole time and helped remind me that I had a seat belt to buckle! We also went to dinner at Smokin' Joe's ...and I had fried okra for the first time. Then they played with us on Saturday for the BYU Football game and on Sunday. It was lots of fun! But sadly I didn't take enough pictures on my trip so this is the only picture I have of them in ArKANSAS......so if you look hard you can see half of Johns face and moms arm!

Ahhhh Summer Summer Time

It has been a fantastic summer! And since summer is almost over....I thought I would post (shocker huh!). It has been beautiful! Full of family, friends, beautiful days spent playing outside, swimming, learning, and growing. We have been richly blessed! Here are a few pictures from our summer in no order of events at all....ENJOY! (It might take a while:)

How can you not adore those guys? I have such great men in my life and they bless my life and make it sooo much richer everyday. (sorry about the weirdness of the pictures)

Playing at the Park with Dad! "Hey Dad" is what Johnny always says to Rog. He is such a Daddies man...and I am kind of a huge fan of Him as well. He starts school tomorrow...GOO ROGER!

Eating one of our favorite treats....Graham Crackers and left over frosting! Even Ethan liked it...which is really no surprise at all!

Island Park, Idaho - Bingham Family Reunion 2009- BLAST! I have such a great family
My little man turned two.......(tear here) I can hardly believe it. Where has time gone!
Present from Grandma P. He now helps dad with fixing all sorts of stuff!
2009 Babies - Brady, Tyce, and Ethan

More Birthday fun! We had such a great time! Our good friends, the Freemans came over. They have a daughter named Kate that John adores. He calls her "my Kate." We are planning on them them marrying. Brent and Christina, Kevin and Kristen, Mom and Dad, Cindy...it was a great night!

Our garden in the beginning.
Our peas were GIGANTIC! They were as tall as me.
Our potatoes did awesome as well....look they might even be better than the good ole Idahoan!!
Digging for worms is Johns favorite part about harvesting the potatoes!
The Ranch-2009

Did I mention that my son has a thing for tractors?
On Grandpa P.'s Tractor
With my brother "Joshie" who works out on the Elberta Farms....what a lucky boy
Ethan has been such a good baby! He is so happy and loves to jump in his jumper! He is almost 6 mo. old and I can hardly believe it!

John and I went to the zoo with my sister Malissa and her family! It was so much fun. My sister and her family are a awesome example of a super family! Oh...and John is TERRIFIED of elephants...who knew!

It couldn't be summer without swimming at the good ole Kamas Pool! We sure do love that pool.

So like I said earlier our summer is just about over. Roger goes back to school tomorrow and will finish in April! Looking back on the summer makes me realize how stinkin' blessed we have been. I am so grateful that Families are Forever!

Go ahead...just blame it on your child!

So I had a wonderful mothers day! The best part was that Roger gave me a wonderful gift...in fact it was so wonderful it was so wonderful that it was hidden in his shoe. Ok...sounds weird, but let me explain. Last August we lost our camera that we bought before we had Johnny. Roger got it me for Christmas our first year we were married. It is a nice camera that does lots of cool tricks that I have no idea how to work, but we love it LOTS...anyway...we lost it. Johnny had just turned a year old and was walking and exploring lots...so we were for sure that he had found the camera and had thrown it into the garbage can...because he threw half of his fridge farm magnets away. So we thought we had solid evidence behind our blaming him. ( The garbage now sits on a chair called the garbage chair because of Johnny's need to throw things away.) So ten months later....Mothers Day Roger was putting on some of his shoes...and guess what he finds...THE LONG LOST CAMERA!!!!! So it turns out that we...the grown ups.... misplaced the camera and since we thought we were too mature to do such a thing (since we couldn't find it anywhere) we for sure thought it was our child. Next time I think we will think twice before blaming our innocent children!

Even though Johnny didn't turn out to be a camera thief he still loves to take pictures and he actually can point and shoot very well. He will say cheese and the person he is taking a picture does the biggest ham face they can because well...they never turn out right. WRONG...sometimes they do. Here are a few of them for your viewing pleasure.

Note: Some pictures might be a little scary!!! - - you'll know it when you get to it!
