Got any Pigs?

We do now! Just adding more fun at our house! Roger found some pigglets on KSL and we bought them on Monday. We had quite the ride back from Ogden with pigs in our van! We even stopped at a drive thru and got some dinner on our way home. Our van sure smelt fresh when we were done with our adventure but it was worth it. Mostly because the whole thing just make me laugh. Sometimes I think my life is really funny. The pigs are now snug in their little corner of our chicken coop. The boys have liked having pigs and seeing a new animal so up close. Johnny started eating like a pig the other day sounds and all. I told him that we don't eat like pigs at the dinner table. It was funny cause......who says that to their three year old? It will be fun to watch them grow up. So if you ever want to see some pigs that live in chicken coop come on over!

Projects, projects, Projects

Our life seems to be full of projects right now! Roger has been such a trooper and deserves a five day hunting trip! Because most of these projects were my idea or benefit me more than him. Sure he will take pride in them and love them but they were for me! First we have our chicken coop. We have been working on this for around two weeks. Rog has put in hours upon hours on the project! He come home from work and goes outside to work on it until midnight or later each night. I have tried to help him as much as I can. Yesterday we put some good work in on it and got all of the siding put up except for the very top row. Now all thats left is the door, roof, and little chicken door. We are going to put some little piglets in there today that we bought to raise and then when its completed will move the chickens in. It will be so nice not to have to go down the street and walk through a field in the snow pregnant with two children to collet the eggs that will mostly likely be broken on our way back to the van. See....it is all for me!

Look what came in the mail for me! Rog got me a super early Christmas present!

Secondly, the wonderful flower bed. Rog and I worked on it during the conference weekend on Saturday and got it mostly built. I have been completing it slowly with my trusty side kicks, John and Ethan. I am happy to say that all the bulbs that I am going to plant there are now in and I just need to fill it in with a bit more dirt. The rest of my bulbs are going in my side beds which I am raising and replanting. Spring is going to be a very pretty time around here! Its been crazy to say the least! I sure like a good project but I think I am ready to be done and have our nice evening nights together to have dinner, wrestle, and just be together again. Roger is fantastic....super,.....the man of the year.....the most incredible guy ever! I am so grateful for him and what he gives up to make me happy.

My house will look like this!!!! How great is that!
