Spiderman

John and Ethan love to "be" someone when they get their pj's on. Johnny got some awesome Spiderman pj's from his cousin and I magically found another Spider man shirt at my favorite shopping place (Catholic Thrift if any of you were wondering). When they have on their pj's they suddenly start running through the house flying with their wings and making weird little flying noises. It sure is fun to watch these two brothers grow up!

A Snowman and a Grandma

Last week we woke up to another snowy cold day. I knew that I wasn't going to go anywhere that day! We had a slow breakfast and got a fire going then suddenly there was a knock at our door. I can tell who is at my door by the knock so I wasn't too alarmed to see Grandma Pearson poke her head in the door. She said the snow was perfect for building a snowman. I was excited since we hadn't even attempted to build one yet this season. Then she opened her snowman kit! Everything that you need to build an awesome snowman. Johnny was so excited that someone actually wanted to play in the snow with him so he ran to get his snow clothes on. Ethan was indifferent because of his hatred for gloves. But after seeing Johnny go outside he decided that he was willing enough! We had fun building our snowman and the boys had fun watching. Then we got out the snowman accessories and Frosty was created. John loved it. He loved waking up from his nap that day and seeing his friend stare at him through the patio window. After withstanding a sunny afternoon Frosty was doing a back bend so John and I ran out to fix him. He lasted for a few more days and then when Johnny told me that Frosty's face looked ugly we decided to take out the rest of his accessories. It was sad to not see him staring at you through the window. Thanks for the snowman Grandma! We are lucky to live so close to a Grandma that can drop by so often.
